It’s been about a month since I started my first blog-teenmemoir.com and since then I have had 47 WordPress followers and 977 views. I know that those aren’t really big numbers, but until a few weeks, I didn’t think anyone would be interested in looking at my blog. I had, and still have, a ton of insecurities about my writing and knowing that I have 47 followers brings immense joy to me!
I never believed in myself, that people would appreciate my writing and that I was worthy of appreciation. I believed that I wouldn’t be able to cope up with blog posts and didn’t think my blog would have a chance of continuing. I still remember the night I wrote my first blog post, as fear, frustration, and confusion overwhelmed me…
I honestly hadn’t expected such huge numbers in such little time!
These numbers have boosted up my self-esteem drastically within very few weeks! I seem to like my writing and appreciate it more!
During my journey, I also learned that the number of views and followers that I have doesn’t really matter. It is the courage that makes you want to put yourself up there does. Also, reading others’ blog posts on self-esteem encouraged me a lot!
So I would like to thank all my followers for giving me so much of self-confidence! I would also like to thank other bloggers for stopping by and giving me feedback!
Cheers to the new acquaintance!
P.S: This was written in a hurry, so feel free to give feedback on grammatical errors 🙂 .
